Do you actually recycle what is in my bin?+
Yes. Loads are tipped at a licensed sorting facility where wood, metal, cardboard, drywall and clean fill are separated out. Only the true residual goes to landfill.
Does recycling cost extra?+
No. Sorting is part of what your flat rate covers. In fact, a clean single-material load is often cheaper than a mixed one because it is faster to process.
Can I put appliances or scrap metal in the bin?+
Scrap metal and most appliances are welcome and get recycled. Anything containing refrigerant, such as a fridge, freezer or air conditioner, must be handled separately, so mention it when you book.
What about renovation drywall and shingles?+
Both are accepted and both have their own recycling and disposal streams. Shingles are heavy, so tell us the approximate square footage and we will size the bin accordingly.
Can you help with a construction waste diversion report?+
Yes. If your project requires documented diversion rates, let the office know when you book and we will keep the records for your file.
